Hope Rising: changing the story on youth violence in Coventry

'Hope Rising' is an opportunity for leaders from across the different faiths and communities of Coventry to come together and work on ways to counter the pressing issue of youth knife violence in our city. The Leaders' Conference (1 3/4 hours) will include brief presentations from:

- Chief Superintendant Mike O'Hara (Coventry Police)

- Rashid Bhayat (CEO of Positive Youth Foundation)

- Vicki Shelley (Coventry Secondary Headteachers’ Executive)

There will also be opportunities for Q&A, group discussion and deciding outcomes.

The Leaders' Conference will be followed by a shorter event (30 minutes) next to the Knife Angel where leaders will be invited to reflect and make a Declaration of Hope for a safer city.
